Administrator-change intelligence
Your GP list is missing the field that decides the call: who administers the funds today.
ALOGON is a prospecting pipeline for business-development teams at fund administrators. It maps general partners to their incumbent administrator, records where that link came from, scores the odds of a change, and attaches the people who own the decision; it runs on the data licenses you already hold.
The gap
What a vendor export leaves out.
The list carries firm names, assets under management, and fund counts. It does not carry the fact that decides the conversation, so the rep dials in blind and hears that the administrator was renewed last year and the relationship is fine. Repeat that across a quarter and the calendar fills with GPs who were never going to move.
- No incumbent
- The export proves the firm exists; it does not say who administers the funds. A GP that keeps administration in-house is a different conversation again.
- No timing
- A GP that just renewed and a GP mid-transition look identical in a spreadsheet.
- No counterpart
- A generic inbox, instead of the CFO, COO, CCO, or head of investor relations who owns the decision.
- No memory
- The matching gets redone by hand each quarter, and the last analyst's judgment leaves when they do.
What ALOGON returns
A working list, not another database to browse.
ALOGON reads the vendor exports your team already licenses and returns each firm matched to its incumbent administrator, the basis of that match recorded, the firm scored and tiered, and the relevant people attached.
- Incumbent mapping
- Firms cross-matched to the administrator on record, with the provenance of that link.
- Two scores, one order of work
- A 170-point demand score sets the tier a rep works from; a 100-point ensemble score runs alongside it as a diagnostic on fit.
- Persona contacts
- CFO, COO, CCO, and head of investor relations, resolved by title rather than by verified authority.
- Campaign-ready export
- Shaped for a sequencer, with no vendor identifiers in it. Lemlist is the supported target today.
The difference
A named service-provider graph, with provenance.
A list that ranks GPs still leaves you to work out who already serves them. ALOGON holds the relationship as well: which administrator a GP uses today, who sits in the seats that matter, and where each of those claims came from.
A name is worth little if you cannot see where the claim came from, so matches and signals carry a provenance tag. A rep can check the basis for a row before it reaches a first line; a manager can audit a tier before approving a send.
Signals read into the scores
- Fund closes and new vehicle formation
- Form D and EDGAR filings
- Assets under management growth
- New CFO and CAO appointments
- Administrator-change indicators
How it runs
Stages run in order, and deterministically.
The same inputs produce the same output, and a run leaves a trail you can read back.
- 01
Ingest
PitchBook, Preqin, and Convergence exports, from your own licensed accounts.
- 02
Normalize
Firm names and domains canonicalized, so one manager stops appearing under several names.
- 03
Cross-match
Each firm linked to its incumbent administrator, with a provenance tag on the link.
- 04
Score and tier
The demand and ensemble scores set the order of work.
- 05
Enrich
Persona contacts attached to each firm that clears its tier.
- 06
Export
Written out for the sequencer, after the gates pass.
Gates that fail loudly
Schema and regression checks run before an export ships, so a changed column or a drifting tier distribution fails the run instead of quietly reaching your outreach tool.
Reruns reproduce, never duplicate
Stages are idempotent and writes go through a single writer, so running it again reproduces the list rather than duplicating rows or silently rewriting them.
An audit trail end to end
From input row to exported field, so a disputed row can be traced rather than argued about. Cost per accepted prospect is tracked per run.
Data boundary
Bring your own licenses; nothing vendor-owned is resold.
ALOGON is a conduit and an interface, not a data reseller. You hold your PitchBook, Preqin, and Convergence agreements. What ALOGON adds is derived: matches, scores, tiers, priority, and provenance. Where a destination requires source values, such as a contact name and email, those travel under your own licence rather than being resold.
- You hold the licenses; ALOGON never resells vendor data.
- No raw vendor identifier ever leaves; the deny-list is enforced in code, not in policy.
- Exports are checked against that contract before they ship.
- The boundary is inspectable; ask to see the validator and the column list.
This is a product boundary rather than legal advice; your own counsel reads your vendor agreements.
Fit
Who it is for, and who it is not for.
Good fit
- A business-development team with vendor licenses in hand and no incumbent map.
- A team judged on cost per accepted prospect rather than on list size.
Poor fit
- Anyone looking to buy raw vendor data; ALOGON does not sell it.
- A team without vendor licenses, because there is nothing for the pipeline to read.
Where it stands
Early product, working pipeline; start with a blind test.
ALOGON is early-stage software from a small operation: Ars Magna, the commercial arm of LVC Capital Consulting Group. There are no logos on this page and no case studies, because there are none to show yet. What exists is a working pipeline, gates that fail loudly, an audit trail, and a boundary that holds up to inspection.
Coverage and price are worth asking about directly; the honest answer depends on your file and your setup rather than on a table printed here. Join the waitlist and say what you sell and which sources you license; the useful first step is a blind test on firms you already know the answer for.
